Learning Outside the Classroom. LOtC

Is a bench mark award that demonstrates quality learning is taking place within the activity.

 

The Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge is the national accreditation for the provision of educational visits, which recognises good quality educational provision where risk is effectively managed.

Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. AALA

Holding an AALA license is a legal requirement for businesses working with young people.

Managed by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) it is a “kite mark” within the industry. It shows that the licence holder has the appropriate policies, risk assessments and procedures to operate safely, primarily with people under the age of 18.

EDGE-ucation is a provider licensed by the Award Scheme to provide expeditions at all levels, by foot, canoe, kayak or bike.
